Job Summary

Summary Of Essential Functions
- Attract and retain members by consistently providing excellent customer service.
- Interact with employees, members, and guests positively, aligned with Village Standards.
- Present a professional image that reflects well on the organization.
- Greet and check in members with sincere hospitality and effective communication skills.
- Have general knowledge of the club, amenities, programs, and the area.
- Handle and record cash and non-cash transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service while remaining friendly and helpful.
- Handle guest complaints promptly and direct questions to the correct individuals.
- Assist members in signing up for programs and activities.
- Answer all phones and direct calls appropriately.
- Maintain a clean and safe front desk area.
- Assist membership operations as needed.
- Take reservations for tennis, squash, and racquet courts.
- Perform other assigned duties.
Knowledge/Skills Required
- Operate multi-line telephone systems.
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Understanding of court reservation systems.
- Basic computer/data entry skills.
- Obtain CPR certification within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to multi-task.
Schedule Requirements:
Must have weekend availability for morning, mid, or closing shifts, and some weekday availability for 12pm-5pm and 4pm to 10pm closing shifts.
Knowledge/Skills Preferred
- Experience in high-end health club hospitality or customer service.
- Experience with credit card/cash handling.
Required Abilities
Available on weekends for morning and afternoon shifts; weekdays afternoons and nights. Flexible to pick up morning shifts during weekdays, with 15-25 hours a week.
Physical Activity
This position requires standing, walking, lifting, grasping, and bending. Involves substantial repetitive movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Must convey important instructions and receive detailed information through communication.
Physical Requirement
Daily walking and standing required, with occasional lifting of up to 10-25 pounds.
Visual Requirement
Close visual acuity needed for greeting guests, answering phones, and viewing computer monitors.
Working Conditions
Typical office or administrative work along with member indoor and outdoor activity.
