Retail Route Driver In Training

Five Star Food Service is seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Retail Route Driver In Training in Columbus, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering food and beverages to various retail locations in the assigned route.

Key Responsibilities:

• Learn and understand the delivery routes and schedules

• Load and unload products from the delivery vehicle

• Deliver products to retail locations in a timely manner

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers

• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while driving and delivering products

• Assist with stocking and merchandising products at retail locations

• Provide excellent customer service and address any customer concerns or issues

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

• Ability to lift and carry heavy items and perform physical tasks

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Flexible schedule and willingness to work early mornings or late evenings

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required

Working Conditions:

• This position requires frequent driving and delivery of products

• Must be able to work in various weather conditions

• May require occasional lifting and carrying of heavy objects
