Chopin Law Firm
Director Of Operations (DOO) Job Description
About The Chopin Law Firm:
The Chopin Law Firm is looking for a Director of Operations (DOO) to help our firm leaders and staff implement the systems and procedures necessary to help set us apart as a law firm. The Chopin Law Firm is committed to providing the very best legal representation while still taking a customer service approach, while employing the most sophisticated technology available. We are not your typical “button-up” law-firm. We’re (relatively) young, hungry, and we hustle-- and we want our clients to recognize us as personable and passionate advocates. We need somebody who is prepared to roll up their sleeves and help ensure that the daily operations of our firm run as efficiently as our clients need them to.
Our ideal candidate is somebody who is a proven leader excited to innovate and implement new ideas in order to get our law firm to the next level. We want somebody who is all about tenacity, versatility, and grit. We want somebody who understands the importance of the “big picture”, but can zoom in to our most minor problems to pursue solutions. We are not the kind of law firm to sugarcoat you, and honestly, this is a big job—we need somebody with the expertise, the drive, and the spirit to rise to the occasion, and the oversight to help all of us do the same.
Job Overview
The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day management and operational efficiency of the firm. This role involves implementing and refining systems and processes to improve productivity and client service, while ensuring the smooth functioning of the office. The DOO reports directly to the firm owner and will oversee multiple departments/roles in the Firm. Please note that this is not an Office Manger position. The DOO will have their hands in the business and operations of the Law Firm.
Key Responsibilities
The Chopin Law Firm is constantly growing and we need our DOO to be as dedicated to our growth as we are. We want to scale upwards and help more clients with their personal injury matters throughout the region, and we now need to implement the infrastructure to do so. This is an opportunity to shape our law firm's future. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to help make The Chopin Law Firm a regional law firm for years to come.
