We are seeking a dedicated Security Installation Technician to join our team. In this role, you will focus on the installation of security systems, with an emphasis on tasks like pulling wire and wiring up devices in medium and large multi-home buildings.

Pay Range: $25.00 - $38.00/HR

Responsibilities:

  • Installation Support: Assist in the installation of security and low voltage systems, including pulling wire and wiring up devices such as Access Control, CCTV, and Intrusion Systems.
  • Basic Wiring: Perform basic wiring tasks, ensuring proper connections and compliance with safety standards.
  • Equipment Handling: Carry and move equipment and tools required for installation.
  • Site Preparation: Prepare installation sites by setting up ladders, scaffolding, and other necessary equipment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with senior technicians and other trades on-site to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Documentation: Complete all required paperwork related to the installation process, such as timesheets and job status reports.
  • Learning & Development: Participate in training sessions to improve skills and knowledge in security systems installation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical Capability: Able to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 75 lbs, and working in various positions such as climbing ladders, scaffolding, and working in confined spaces.
  • Reliability: Regular, reliable, and predictable attendance is required.
  • Communication Skills: Basic communication skills to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.

Physical Requirements:

  • Working Conditions: Able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, including climbing ladders and scaffolding, working at heights up to 60 feet, and navigating through ducts, crawl spaces, and ceilings.
  • Labor Intensive: Capable of carrying and moving heavy equipment and tools as needed.
