Maintenance Worker

Pay: $22 - $27.85 DOE

Comprehensive Life Resources is looking for a passionate Maintenance Worker to join our Facility Services team in Tacoma. We do provide training.

Function

Provide routine and preventive maintenance for all facilities. Serves as a member of the organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with supervisory staff to design and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance system
• Repairs due to wear and tear
• Trouble Shooting and problem solving
• Landscaping
• Painting
• Monitor equipment and inventory
• Assist in performance of janitorial and grounds keeping duties as directed.
• In addition to the above, perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Valid Drivers License and means of transportation
• Working knowledge of trade skills such as plumbing, electrical drywall, etc.
• Capability to work with custodial crews and ordering supplies.
• Experience or willingness to work in a mental health residential care setting with both youth and adults.
• Ability to communicate with vendors to ensure equipment maintenance and inspections are completed in accordance with L&I and OSHA standards
