Description:
Oregon Corrections Enterprises (OCE) has a full time opening for an Enterprise Resource Platform (ERP) and Information Systems Specialist working at the OCE Administrative Office in Salem, Oregon. This position serves as a member of OCE’s statewide IT team, providing high level Information Technology (IT) analysis and support for agency business units located in correctional institutions throughout the state including the central administration office.
Desired Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiar with Global Shop Solutions ERP
- Experience in monitoring data systems and administering security controls, including system log review, etc.
- Experience in data development, including table modification, query development, report generation, scripting
- Experience in data system setup, administration and maintenance, including database administration, data standards development, performance monitoring, data backup and restoration
Minimum Qualifications:
- One (1) year of Experience with ERP system administration, management and support
- Four (4) years of related information systems experience in Database Analysis and System Administration
- An Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology or related field may be substituted for 1.5 years of experience.
- Three (3) years of related information systems experience AND a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- A Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field may substitute for 1 year of experience.
- Pass an initial and annual Law Enforcement Data System (LEDS) criminal background check screening.
- Pass pre-employment drug screening as a condition of employment.
