Sales Arborist

Sargent’s is pleased to offer the position of Sales Arborist in the Rochester, MN area. The ideal candidate must be a great teammate, have strong knowledge of and a passion for arboriculture, communicate well with customers, and be driven to achieve. Responsibilities:

• Sell arboricultural and horticultural services to residential and commercial customers by proposing sales to existing clients and cultivating relationships with new customers

• Care for the crews by selling meaningful and safe work that gives them the hours they need
• Learn and master our CRM (ArborGold)
• Estimate time/cost for crews to perform tree removal, pruning, bracing, plant health care, shrub maintenance, and all other tree and shrub care services
• Direct crews as needed to complete proposed projects
• Continue to grow and develop in your knowledge of trees and shrubs and the issues that affect them.

You Have:

• Valid MN Driver’s License and ability to be insured on Sargent’s company insurance policy.
• Knowledgeable and experienced with tree and shrub pruning and removal, soils, tree and shrub pest management, and ANSI A300 and Z133.1 standards
• Minimum 3 years of experience in arboriculture/horticulture
• Preference to those with a degree in a related field
• Preference to those who are a Certified Arborist through ISA
• Excellent sales and communication skills, driven, computer proficient, and organized
