Responsible for performing on-site laundry services. Sorts, loads, unloads and folds laundered items.

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or the equivalent.

Sorts, loads/unloads, and folds laundered items. Ensures that drying are lent free. Monitors machines to ensure the correct amount of detergent is being used and machines are operating properly. Other duties as assigned.

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

Professional personal appearance.

Excellent communication skills.

Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.

Work may require evening, early morning, and weekend schedules. Must be able to bend and kneel throughout assigned shift. Must be able to occasionally reach above head in performing job duties. Able to push, pull and carry up to 35 pounds. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time.

Physical Requirements

Specialized Work Experience

Basic communication skills required. Must be able to understand and speak English. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. One to two years of commercial laundry experience preferred. Must have knowledge of different types of materials and fabrics in relationship to laundering processes. Must be able to read labels on chemical bottles. Must be able to tolerate cleaning chemicals without developing an allergic reaction.

Interact well with others and be a positive influence on employee morale.

Uphold the company’s non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.

Work evening, weekend and holiday work hours as required.
