POSITION SCOPE

Reporting to the Lead/Supervisor, for the Order Management Team, the EDI Order Management Specialist is responsible for resolving customer EDI ordering issues to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment. The Specialist must have superior organizational and multi-tasking skills and broad knowledge of business processes. Must be able to communicate effectively (verbal and written) with both internal and external technical and non-technical groups and have demonstrated presentation and documentation skills. The candidate should be self-motivating and able to work independently while sharing knowledge and mentoring other team members. Ensures all departmental objectives, metrics, and measures are achieved. This role will help promote the growth and adoption of best-in-class operational processes for the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure policy adherence, order accuracy, service, and quality interactions, and that all department measurements are met. Follow established procedures, practices, and policies for Department and for the Quality System. Ensure adherence to regulatory business and department guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Using data and provide feedback to find opportunities and implement programs to increase EDI touchless order capabilities.
  • Aim to development needs through coaching, mentoring, and direct feedback so associate development meets current and future organization needs.
  • Working with internal and external customers to increase EDI touchless ordering while meeting all established metrics and KPIs.
  • Ensure EDI orders are fixed and released in alignment with SLAs to ensure no customer or BD operations impact.
  • Handling your workload responsibilities are in alignment with department and corporate policies and procedures
  • Advancing items to management that may have a negative impact on our internal and external customers

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience with ERP system(s)
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role (export, logistics, order management, customer service)
  • Minimum of 2 years' prior experience in a related industry (i.e., medical device, healthcare supply chain, pharmaceutical)

  • Proficiency in standard business computer software applications (MS Word, Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Beginner to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills preferred

EDUCATION:

  • A high school diploma plus 3 years of experience.

SUPERVISION:

  • Has direct reporting relationship for: Order Management E-Business Team
