CapStone Solutions is a construction telecommunications company seeking a small-cell/utility technician for the greater Portland area. This technician must be able to perform or learn all aspects of construction detailed in the description and qualifications below.

Job Description
- Install small cell equipment on utility poles and prep in our shop
- Assist or operate our bucket truck, set poles and other structures to install, reconfigure and repair small cell and other antenna and cable equipment
- Operate electronic test equipment including cable testers, fiber testers, battery testers and other RF analysis equipment
- Install outdoor cell site systems including cabinets, associated conduits, and small cell equipment
- Troubleshoot and evaluate data related to small cell systems
- Perform power, fiber optic, cat5/cat6, waveguide and coaxial cable installations and testing
- Read Scope of Work (SOW) documents and deliver project outcomes to scope and as directed
- Other responsibilities, tasks, and assignments as deemed appropriate by CapStone
Qualifications
- Must be able to work outside of normal business hours (i.e., shift work), to include nights and weekends, when needed.
- Self-starter with the desire and ability to learn and retain new knowledge.
- Must be a team player and have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Good work ethic and positive attitude.
- Reliability and a team mentality is a must.
- Ability to learn and retain physical and mechanical installation specifications.
- Able to lift, carry, push, pull 75+ lbs.
- Must be reliable, punctual and able to learn and retain new information.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid Driver License with Clean MVR and Reliable Transportation
- Traffic Control Experience
- Competent Tower Climbing Certification
- Competent Rigger
- RF Safety and Awareness Certification
- CPR/First Aid Certified
- Bloodborne Pathogens
- OSHA 10
- OSHA 30
