Together, disrupting the cycle of intimate partner and sexual violence is our mission. The Development Manager will help to move toward our vision of thriving survivors in safe communities. The Center for Women and Families provides free services to people of all identities who have experienced intimate partner violence and sexual assault, helping clients and their dependent children become survivors through trauma-informed advocacy.
The Development Manager is responsible for providing support on all Development initiatives and activities, carrying revenue generating projects for the Center's fundraising plan in Kentucky and Southern Indiana. The Manager will collaborate with leadership to develop and support annual fundraising plans to support the Center's revenue growth.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Promote events/activities to the business community to support The Center and provide support to those groups that want to host an event or provide information about The Center.
- Develop plans to promote various events throughout the year like Domestic Violence Awareness Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month, emphasizing corporate employee involvement.
- Represent The Center and its programs in meetings and at events with individual and prospective donors.
- Work with the VP of External Affairs and Senior Director of Development to grow individual revenue.
- Coordinate all aspects of a successful event with staff and volunteers towards a common goal.
- Develop and solicit sponsors for events as needed.
- Support third-party event planning.
- Assist in planning, fundraising, and marketing events like the Breakfast of Brilliance.
- Coordinate with in-kind donors throughout the year.
- Provide paperwork to the donor for recognition of their in-kind donation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Raiser's Edge experience is preferred.
- Fluency in additional languages is a plus.
- Valid driver's license and maintaining a driving record that meets the Center's insurance requirements.
