Position Role & Responsibilities
As a member of the team, responsibilities include:
- Design (design studies, sketches, and conceptual studies using hand drawing and digital media)
- 3D modeling
- Producing presentation graphics and presentations
- Assisting in preparation of construction drawings/documents, sets (grading plans, planting plans, layout plans, technical details and specifications)
- Assisting in development of site development plans for approval in compliance with plans, specifications, and ordinances
- Compiling and analyzing data on site conditions
- Preparing cost estimates, technical reports, and memos
- Participating in meetings (including oral presentations, interaction with clients and consultant teams, and travel)
- Collaborating with senior designers and principals from conceptual design through construction documentation
Requirements
A professional undergraduate or graduate degree or certificate in landscape architecture or architecture from an accredited program.

- Technical understanding of landscape architecture site development elements
- Licensure as a landscape architect, planner, or architect (or in progress) is a bonus
Proficiency in
- AutoCAD
- Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop)
- Microsoft Office
- 3D modeling (SketchUp and Rhino)
- Lumion
- Google Earth Pro
- Hand sketching
Additional experience with the following is desirable
- Revit
- Grasshopper
- ArcMap/ArcGIS
- Bluebeam Revu
