Position Summary
The Courier is responsible for picking up and delivering, on a pre-set schedule, documents and other items between locations of First Busey Corporation and its subsidiaries.
Duties & Responsibilities
Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 12:00pm. Working 20-25 hours per week.
- Gather and sort all mail.
- Pick-up and deliver mail, interoffice envelopes, proofwork, supplies, etc. on a pre-set schedule between locations.
- Pick-up and deliver various items at offices and businesses outside the Busey organization.
- Make additional pick-ups or deliveries upon special request.
- Maintain delivery vehicles.
Education & Experience
Knowledge of:
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to:
- Safely drive a motor vehicle
- Analyze and solve problems based on precedent
- Maintain visual attention and mental concentration for variable periods of time
- Perform duties and make decisions under frequent time pressures
- Lift and carry on average 25 pounds on a daily basis
Education and Training:
- Requires High School diploma.
- Requires a valid driver’s license.
- Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Compensation and Benefits
Salary offered is based on factors, including but not limited to, the job duties, required qualifications and relevant experience, and local market trends. The role may be eligible for bonus or incentives based on company and individual performance.
(Base Pay Range: $15.00-$17.50/hour)
