Position Overview:
As an Ultrasonographer/Vascular Sonographer, you will work under the guidance of physicians/providers, performing diagnostic and vascular sonography procedures. Your expertise will contribute to high-quality patient care in accordance with industry standards and best practices.
Compensation:
Our client offers a competitive compensation package ranging from $60,000 to $80,000, commensurate with your experience, education, certifications, and skill set. This reflects a strong commitment to attracting top-tier talent for this pivotal role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of diagnostic and vascular sonography procedures.
- Adhere to applicable scope and standards of practice.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality imaging for patient care.
Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an approved Ultrasound/Sonography program or equivalent.
- Licenses:
- ARDMS and RVT registered OR if a new graduate:
- Must be ARDMS-eligible and pass at least one area of specialization (e.g., Abdomen, OBGYN), including physics, within one year of employment.
- Must pass the RVT exam within 18 months of employment.
- NM license to practice as a Sonographer.
- ARDMS and RVT registered OR if a new graduate:
- Ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-To-Haves):
- 2-3 years of experience in sonography.
- Previous hospital-based sonography experience.
