Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Payment Operations Analyst to join our
dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in overseeing payment processing operations,
identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our product team to identify issues and contribute to improvements in our internal and client-facing payment systems. This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to grow their career in payment operations and risk management while learning from experienced professionals

Responsibilities
The first 90 days of your employment will be under a probationary period. During this period, both the company and you will determine whether you can perform the requirements of the job you have been assigned to. Near the end of this probation, we will assess your performance in the form of a standard review.
Compensation Package
BASE SALARY Payable on a bi-monthly basis & subject to all withholdings & deductions as required by law
EQUITY GRANT Subject to approval by Board of Directors, 4 year vest, 1 year cliff

REPORTS TO
VP, Payments - Jeremy Everett
Responsibilities
- Assist in daily payment processing activities, including transaction monitoring, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments, addressing any discrepancies or issues that arise.
- Collaborate with Finance and Success teams to help optimize relevant payment processes and improve efficiency.
- Identify and provide recommendations to drive improvements and enhance payment- related features and functionalities.
- Support the end-to-end process of stock donations, ensuring timely and accurate recording and allocation.
- Coordinate with donors and relevant financial institutions to facilitate stock transfers.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal guidelines related to stock donations.
- Assist in identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities within payment processing operations.
- Conduct basic risk assessments and help develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Monitor and analyze transaction data to detect and prevent fraudulent activities.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to payment operations and risk management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies related to payment processing.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive reports on payment operations, risk assessments, and fraud incidents.
- Assist in audits and regulatory examinations, providing necessary documentation and information

- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) is a plus but not required.
- Some experience in payment operations, risk analysis, or a related role is a plus.
- Familiarity with payment processing systems and tools is a plus, eg. Stripe is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements is a plus.
- Experience with data analysis and reporting tools is a plus.
