Summary Of Job (brief Description)
Soleno Therapeutics is seeking a Vice President, Investor Relations to lead our strategic engagement with the investment community. Reporting to the CEO, this executive will be responsible for developing and executing an investor relations strategy that effectively communicates Soleno’s vision, business strategy, and financial performance to shareholders, analysts, and prospective investors. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in the biotech sector, a strong understanding of capital markets, and the ability to foster relationships with key stakeholders in the investment and biotech communities.

Soleno Therapeutics is seeking a Vice President, Investor Relations to lead our strategic engagement with the investment community. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in the biotech sector, a strong understanding of capital markets, and the ability to foster relationships with key stakeholders in the investment and biotech communities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with Soleno’s corporate objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for investors, analysts, and financial media, ensuring clear and transparent communication of the company’s financial and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Executive Team to craft compelling investor messaging, presentations, press releases, and earnings call scripts.
- Lead the planning and execution of investor conferences, earnings calls, roadshows, and other investor engagements.
- Monitor market trends, investor sentiment, and peer company performance to provide insights and recommendations to the executive team.
- Maintain strong relationships with equity analysts and institutional investors to enhance Soleno’s visibility and credibility in the market.
- Oversee the preparation of investor materials, including earnings reports, investor decks, and regulatory filings.
- Partner with Finance and Legal teams to ensure alignment on disclosure policies, corporate messaging, and SEC compliance.
- Develop strategies to expand Soleno’s shareholder base and attract new long-term investors.
- Support capital-raising initiatives, including follow-on offerings, PIPE transactions, and other financing activities.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
- 15+ years of experience in investor relations, corporate finance, or equity research in the biotech or life sciences industry, with a preference in the rare disease space.
- Proven track record of effectively managing investor relations at a publicly traded biotech or pharmaceutical company.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and capital markets dynamics.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex scientific and financial data into compelling investor messaging.
- Established relationships with institutional investors, sell-side analysts, and financial media.
- Experience navigating SEC regulations, earnings reporting, and disclosure best practices.
- High degree of strategic thinking, business acumen, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.
