Our Junior Sales Associates support the sales team in reaching out to potential clients and contributing to business growth. This role involves conducting market research, engaging with prospects via phone, email, and web-conferencing tools, assisting with client presentations, and maintaining accurate sales records. Additional responsibilities include supporting lead generation strategies, assisting with RFP responses, coordinating client communications, and contributing to operational efficiency through various administrative and reporting tasks. The position offers an opportunity to develop sales skills and industry knowledge in a collaborative remote work environment.
Job Functions:
1. Sales and Business Development
- Conduct market research to identify potential leads
- Reach out to prospects and existing partners via phone, email, and web-conferencing tools
- Assist senior sales team members in presentations and client meetings
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions
- Collaborate with the sales & marketing team to develop lead generation strategies
- Assist with research and responding to client Request-for-Proposals (RFPs)
- Develop understanding of industry and Valicom pricing
- Close new client deals (direct clients and partner-generated)
2. Operational Support
- Assist with creation and updating of business reports
- Document and report on client/partner metrics and account changes
- Maintain and update Valicom's client & partner maps/location data
- Coordinate branding of TEM software to Valicom's partners
- Assist with managing various 3rd party platforms for online advertisements, video, social media, and website management
3. Client Communication and Relationship Management
- Assist with client communications regarding contract renewals, pricing, and scope changes
- Coordinate and share information between Valicom team, partners, and clients
- Assist in scheduling and coordination of online meetings and phone calls
- Participate in client webinars and presentations
4. Administrative Tasks
- Assist in creation and updating of client agreements, partnership agreements, and service renewal agreements
- Assist with updating and maintenance of price lists
- Support other sales and operational reporting and research initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic understanding of sales principles and techniques
