Stampede Ventures Inc. is seeking a qualified Project Coordinator to assist with communications, cultural monitoring and other project activities in support of the Pojoaque Basin Regional Water System (PBRWS) project in Santa Fe, New Mexico. This individual must possess an in-depth understanding of project planning, and a basic understanding of direct leadership through managing technically and logistically demanding assignments. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for:

The Essential Duties and Responsibilities are intended to present a descriptive list of the range of duties performed for this position and are intended to reflect all duties performed within the job or other duties as assigned.

  • Possess in-depth understanding of project planning, contracting and project management.
  • Maintain Work Plans, Schedule Plans, Safety Plans, and Status Reports.
  • Maintain and manage Administrative Record to include but not limited to record documents, contract activities, field notes, meeting notes, status reports, raw data, photographs, reports, plans, and analyses generated during the contract.
  • Provide contract management as it relates property, administration, personnel, subcontracts, contractors, and projects.
  • Provide scheduling and project presentations for the project.
  • Shall provide additional cultural monitoring services to support the engineering and construction activities on days when PBRWS construction activity is at its highest performance or in emergencies.
  • Proficient in Windows, Mac and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, Media web platforms and social media; and maintain records and files both actual and electronic in a manner that provides efficient access to records when needed.
  • Manage relationships with clients and all stakeholders.
  • Audit comprehensive project documentation and plans for accuracy and compliance.
  • Attend, facilitate meetings and provide progress updates as needed.
  • Enforcing vendor and subcontractor contracts within the context of the project.
  • Periodic travel to jobsites will be required.
  • The Project Coordinator will report to the Senior Project Manager at our Santa Fe office.

Required (Minimum Necessary) Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in the federal contracts industry
  • Experience with strong business, project management, and delivery methodologies background.

  • Excellent communications skills, oral and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to take direction and follow instructions adequately.
  • Flexibility in required duties.
  • Must be able to work in high pressure environments and/or under difficult conditions.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and multi-task in fast paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, as well as with customers and vendors.
  • Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently analyze and organize significant amounts of information regarding plan layouts, materials, and scheduling.

Preferred

  • Experience interacting with and coordinating with local Tribes and local agencies.
  • Experience managing federal government projects is beneficial.

The job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work described herein is primarily in a modern office setting. Occasional travel may be required.

  • No supervisory responsibilities.

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
