[solidcore] is seeking a Social Media Coordinator & Community Manager to join our dynamic team at our HQ in Arlington, Virginia. We are a fast-paced, innovative company looking for a creative individual to build our community and develop best-in-class content across social channels. Reporting to the Social Media Manager, you will play a pivotal role in creating, publishing and optimizing content that brings the [solidcore] experience to life for our clients and all who are seeking a stronger version of themselves. This role combines community management, nimble ideation to execution and strong project management skills to organize cross-functionally.

An ideal match should have a strong interest in fitness / familiarity with the brand, be deeply immersed in the social ecosystem with a finger on the pulse, be comfortable with content creation, and desire to connect our community of coaches and clients, amplifying our client’s successes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Ideation: Contribute to development of monthly content calendars, brainstorming on content to inspire, entertain and educate our clients on the [solidcore] brand, as well as ad hoc content based on current trends, tailored to platform best practice
  • Content Management: Manage posting schedules to ensure timely posting of content based on optimized publishing times. Maintain and update content calendar with visibility to cross-functional partners to streamline social workflows and approvals. Communicate changes or updates for alignment within overarching marketing initiatives as needed
  • Content Creation: Coordinate production needs for timelines on content capture both in studio and at HQ. Create briefs and manage content creation done in other studio locations. Assist in content capture and editing, keep brand voice guidelines in mind while having a creative eye to output
  • Copywriting: Lead caption-writing for posts. Write and maintain blog “blue light buzz” to further illustrate key elements of our brand
  • Community Management: Respond promptly to DMs and comments across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and X, surfacing to teams internally for escalation as needed. Speak through brand voice to create opportunities for connection with our clients or new prospective clients
  • Analysis: Monitor social listening dashboards, provide internal reporting on channel success, and understand key metrics
  • Innovation: Keep up with industry news in the social space and bring new ideas to the team of how to use the latest insights to amplify [solidcore] social channels


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience managing social media platforms for a brand, organization, or agency. (please provide links to accounts you have managed). A startup or entrepreneurial mindset is highly valued
  • Skills:
  • Highly familiar with Instagram & TikTok
  • Experience with YouTube, X, Pinterest a plus, as well as familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite or similar)
  • Experience with social listening tools (e.g. Talkwalker or similar) a plus
  • Familiar with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Canva
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to craft compelling, on-brand content
  • Able to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Passion for boutique fitness
  • Comfort being on camera is a plus but not required
