About The Opportunity
The Financial and Data Analyst will serve as a trusted and valuable addition to the Finance department. They will use their expertise to assist multiple departments in the organization to process and analyze complex operational, clinical and financial data sets.

About The Opportunity
The Financial and Data Analyst will serve as a trusted and valuable addition to the Finance department. They will use their expertise to assist multiple departments in the organization to process and analyze complex operational, clinical and financial data sets.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Utilize data analytics to uncover critical business insights and findings.
- Develop data models and reporting tools to meet financial targets.
- Utilize Microsoft Power BI to design dashboards and reports for critical business metrics.
- Track and analyze margin performance in collaboration with the finance and operations teams.
- Gather and analyze data for standard and ad-hoc reports on company and line-of-business performance.
- Analyzing and interpreting financial data related to healthcare business.
- Providing insights to guide decision-making, developing strategies for cost reduction and revenue growth, monitoring spending, and measuring financial performance against established plans, all with the goal of optimizing the financial health of the business.
- Gathering, cleaning, and analyzing financial data from various sources like practice management system, operational costs, and reimbursement rates to identify trends and patterns.
- Creating and maintaining financial models to forecast future revenue, expenses, and profitability, including scenario analysis for strategic planning.
- Preparing regular financial reports and presentations summarizing key metrics like revenue cycle performance, cost per patient, and profitability by service line.
- Assisting in the development and monitoring of annual operating budgets, identifying potential variances and proposing corrective actions.
- Working closely with other departments like operations, clinical leadership, and billing to understand their needs and integrate financial considerations into decision-making.

Requirements
About You
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools,
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate results of data analysis to a variety of stakeholders.
- Expertise in financial modeling and spreadsheet applications - Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access, Power BI.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex financial information effectively.
- Acute attention to detail and strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Motivation to achieve individual and team goals, must be able to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to learn and apply industry-specific concepts.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in healthcare or related field preferred.
- Experience with CentralReach ABA Software and NetSuite, a plus.
- Constant visual stimulation, including close vision, distance vision, reading, computer work.?
- Constant sitting; frequent up and down out of chair.?
- Constant use of telephone, speaking, listening?
- Constant document handling, use of copier and fax machine, filing.?
- Frequent typing, use of computer?
- Occasional walking around building??
