Position Summary
The People & Culture Partner is primarily responsible for administrative functions of the department, including new hire onboarding, culture events, HRIS administration, employee investigations, leave of absence administration, and organizational communication. This role will work closely with employees and leaders from all departments to accomplish tasks and achieve long-term goals.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Owning the new hire onboarding experience, including:
- Coordination of all pre-hire activities and requirements
- Completion of all onboarding events in Paylocity
- Preparation for New Hire Orientation
- Facilitating New Hire Orientation
- Being a champion for company culture by assisting with the planning and coordinating of all company events.
- Overseeing and developing recognition and engagement programs
- Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and senior leaders on HR matters, helping them navigate challenges and opportunities.
- Act as a point of contact for employee concerns, handling issues related to performance, discipline, and conflict resolution.
- Administer and manage employee leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA, personal leave, and other company-approved leave policies.
- Maintaining up-to-date information in the company’s HR Information System(s)
- Ensuring employee files are created and maintained in accordance with company policy and applicable regulations
- Assisting with the development and facilitation of relevant training programs
- Recommending new ideas, policies, or other improvements to Senior Leadership
- Collaborating with department leadership on all initiatives and strategies
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure sensitive employee information is handled appropriately.

Desired Experience & Qualifications
The most successful candidate will meet most, if not all, of the following criteria.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2-3 years of relative Human Resources experience
- Experience using Microsoft Office
- The ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- The ability to multi-task and manage projects efficiently and effectively
- Experience with Paylocity or other major HRIS
- High degree of confidentiality and the ability to treat all matters with the appropriate discretion
- Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and other federal/state mandated leave requirements
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and willing to take on new challenges as the company grows
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform required duties. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger and reach with hands and arms. There is no significant standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, reaching, handling, pushing, and pulling. The person in this position needs to be able to move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. There is a constant operation of a telephone and computer. The employee may be lifting up to 15 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust and focus.
