Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Practice Manager to join our dynamic Provider Operations team. This role will oversee the operations of our network of mental health therapists and coaches, ensuring exceptional care delivery while optimizing internal processes for efficiency, scalability, and excellence. As a key player in our team, you will be responsible for managing and growing the provider network, driving performance against KPIs, and collaborating across teams to ensure our patients receive holistic care.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the mental health therapist and coach network, ensuring high-quality care delivery.
  • Lead the recruitment and onboarding process for new therapists and coaches, ensuring that the hiring pace and volume align with demand forecasts.
  • Provide comprehensive support to providers by addressing inquiries and facilitating scheduling
  • Continuously review and improve processes to enhance efficiency, scalability, and operational excellence within the provider network.
  • Monitor provider performance against KPIs, including therapist and coach performance, member NPS scores, mental health product gross margin, and product utilization metrics.
  • Collaborate with clinical and recruiting teams to ensure seamless provider hiring, training, and assignment to patients.
  • Engage with therapists and coaches to meet fluctuating provider demands and ensure availability for patients.
  • Work closely with other product line teams (virtual primary care, virtual urgent care) to deliver integrated, holistic care to patients.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with the provider network to maintain high engagement and satisfaction levels.
  • Provide insights and data-driven recommendations on provider operations and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in healthcare management, business, or related field is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in provider operations, specifically related to managing mental health therapists and coaches. Experience in managing providers in both long-term therapy and short-term therapy like EAP is a plus.
  • Proven track record of process optimization and scaling operational workflows.
  • Strong understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) related to mental health care, such as therapist performance, member satisfaction, and utilization metrics.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships and collaborate across teams.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to changing demands in a growing organization.
