Landscape Technician

Pay from $30 to $35 per hour with significant growth and earning potential!

Position Responsibilities

• Maintain the 17 acres of grounds of Uline’s campus by overseeing mowing, weeding, fertilizing, planting, pruning, watering and pest / disease control.
• Meet weekly with our landscape vendor to discuss progress and needs.
• Design and plant various seasonal landscaping materials like perennials, grass, annual flowers, trees, shrubs, etc.
• Develop knowledge of irrigation, turf and equipment maintenance.
• Perform landscape and irrigation system audits and write corresponding reports.
• Inspect and ensure landscape equipment is in safe operating condition.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent. Certificate / diploma in turf management preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in gardening / landscaping and grounds maintenance.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift / move up to 70 lbs.
• Bilingual (English / Spanish) a plus.
