Cath Lab Tech

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our team and assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with cardiac conditions. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a catheterization laboratory setting and possess a strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Assist in the preparation of patients for cardiac catheterization procedures
• Operate and maintain imaging equipment during diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures for any complications
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely patient care
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for patients and staff

Qualifications and Skills:

• Associate's degree or certificate in cardiovascular technology or related field
• Certification as a registered cardiovascular invasive specialist (RCIS) or registered cardiovascular technologist (RCVT) preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a catheterization laboratory
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and equipment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
