Tracked Vehicle Product Manager - Development
The Domestic Tracked Product Manager - Development is a leadership position responsible for training, development, organization, direction, and guidance to employees executing our legacy vehicle development. The portfolio consists of current domestic vehicle platform engineering development projects. The candidate will lead and manage a team of engineers in roles such as product managers, project leads, and chief engineers.

Onsite or Hybrid:

Responsibilities:
- Train and develop direct reports
- Manage departmental workload and performance actions
- Work with program office, manufacturing, QA/SQA, and SCM to resolve production issues
- Represent the department to GDLS leadership and customers
- Review and approve engineering bids within the portfolio
- Conduct performance management activities
- Provide guidance in:
- Executing project plans and schedules
- Establishing funding mechanisms
- Maintaining project manpower demand
- Utilize problem reporting metrics to monitor project performance
- Lead engineering RCCA activities for production issues
- Communicate direction to stakeholders delivering technical products
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems preferred)
- MBA/MS a plus
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience
- Project Management experience required
- Ability to establish and maintain effective customer relationships
- Experience leading teams
- Experience in complex systems design and integration
- Proven leadership skills
- Ability to assess technical risk and develop mitigation plans
- Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent business acumen and negotiating skills
- Ability to travel as needed
Additional Information:
- This position requires eligibility for a US security clearance. (Non-US Citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance)
