Associate Attorney

The Underwood Law Firm is a boutique real estate and business litigation firm looking for an Associate Attorney with 0 to 5 years of experience to join our rapidly growing team. Our work involves pioneering novel issues and innovative approaches in the cutting-edge field of partition law. About The Role

Responsibilities

• Drafting pleadings, discovery, and legal correspondence
• Arguing in court
• Developing litigation strategies to help clients achieve their goals
• Reviewing and investigating legal claims
• Conducting legal research and writing, including complaints, discovery, briefs, and letters;
• Appearing for court and depositions;
• Negotiating settlements with opposing counsel and clients
• Reporting to firm management.
  
  

Qualifications

• California Bar License
• Strong interest in the firm's practice areas (Real Estate/Business/Civil Litigation)
• Attention to detail
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
• Self-motivated
• Commitment to ethical practice
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a team

Attorneys can work remotely from home, or from a nearby office in San Diego.
