Responsibilities
- Actively driving refinement discussions and contributing extensive product knowledge.
- Participating in sprint planning and stand-ups.
- Identifying ways to improve the team's effectiveness and bringing up these suggestions during retrospectives.
- Demonstrating the ability to create technical designs for complex features and leading other developers in their implementation.
- Providing high-quality written and verbal contributions to specifications.
- Exhibiting good communication judgment with limited mentoring or guidance.
- Playing a key role in requirements gathering and all aspects of the software lifecycle.
- Balancing business and technical needs for key features.
- Identifying gaps in quality and performance and recommending improvements.
- Working independently without supervision and often providing guidance to other team members.
- Suggesting process changes for continuous improvement.
- Having significant industry experience.
- Evaluating analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills with technical staff at all levels.
- Showing strong technical management lead capabilities.
- Being able to deliver formal technical training.
- Providing continuous mentoring to other software engineers.
- 5-7 years of experience in object-oriented language: Java (preferred), C#, C++, JavaScript frameworks considered.
- JS, SpringBoot experience is helpful, but not required.
- Strong computer science fundamentals including data structures and algorithms
- Understanding of object-oriented and related design concepts
- Architecture design
- Willing to work on projects without defined structure and participate in investigation and implementation of new technologies.
- Mentoring less senior developers
- No Travel Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
