From the initial concept of a product to its finished form, we control all aspects of the design, production, and quality in our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, located in beautiful Lodi, California.

Position Summary: This position's primary responsibility is to assist in the repair, installation, extraction and refurbishment of injection molding equipment, fixtures and machinery.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, plumbing and electrical issues on packaging equipment, robots and downstream automation equipment and make repairs in a safe, efficient, and timely manner
  • Work closely with on-shift Managers/Supervisors/Leads to ensure issues are communicated in a timely and effective manner
  • Provide detailed reports on equipment performance to the Automation Supervisor
  • Perform various repairs on the building and/or grounds as assigned
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, order supplies and maintain Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
  • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned
  • Observes all safety rules/requirements, including Lock Out Tag Out

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required, technical certificate is a plus
  • Min 2+ years of automation robotics manufacturing experience required. Prior injection molding experience a plus
  • Demonstrated mechanical capability and proven working knowledge of basic 3-Axis robotic functions/components, motors, valves, cylinders, bearings, etc. required
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance on robots; diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair other machinery. Properly and safely use power and hand tools
  • DC and AC circuit troubleshooting skills and ability to use a multimeter
  • Proven understanding of pneumatics, how a Venturi Vacuum system works
  • Ability to read and understand wiring schematics and pneumatics
  • Must possess basic math skills, ability to take measurements, and must be able to read and interpret equipment manuals construction prints and electrical schematics
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills and ability to work between multiple departments
  • Strong attention to detail/accuracy and ability to work in high production environment while responding quickly and effectively under pressure, changing priorities and tight timelines/deadlines
  • Ability to weld/cut with a torch and drive a forklift is a plus
