Early Childhood Education Inclusion Specialist

Compensation

Our employees are our most valuable asset; therefore, we offer competitive pay and benefits. The pay range for these positions starts at $60,702 - $67,447 annually, depending on qualifications (i.e., licensure and experience). This salary reflects a 40-hour workweek, annualized. Any agreed-upon reduction in weekly hours will be reflected in salary commensurately. Please inquire with interest. This position is benefits eligible, including health and dental insurance, health savings account with an employer contribution, flexible spending accounts, and retirement account with matching contribution. Additionally, we offer generous PTO, paid holiday schedule, childcare discount, and eligibility for loan forgiveness!

Schedule

Full-time (40 hours), Monday-Friday-hours to be determined according to the center's needs.

Program Summary

Join a team of talented early childhood education specialists who are dedicated to changing the lives of children! For more than 60 years, St. David's Center has provided the highest quality of early childhood education to typically developing children and children with special needs ages 16 months - five years.

Position Overview

The Early Childhood Education Specialist provides training and support to teachers, children, and families to ensure high-quality programming is delivered through our inclusive ECE program model, fidelity to the curriculum, and best practices in child development.

Education

Job Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Education, Special Education, Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling Psychology or related field required.

Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

Experience Required

Knowledge of child development, developmentally appropriate practices.

Knowledge of varied classroom management strategies.

Ability to observe, interpret and synthesize information about child development to effectively partner with educators and interdisciplinary care providers.

Minimum 3 years' experience with developmental and behavioral differences in group care, early childhood education, special education or mental health.
