Position Summary:

This position is responsible for assisting in defining and developing products and processes in the procurement, planning and materials departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and analyze demand and production loads in the M2M ERP system.
• Work to compile a database of all qualified suppliers for components.
• Reach out to supplier to track down shipment information.
• Work with suppliers to receive 30-,60-,90- days delivery forecasts.
• Attend department and customer meetings and assist in the pre-meeting agenda.
• Work with the shipping department to receive critical components into inventory.
• Assist Purchasing with customer PO’s and related vendor communications.
  
  
  

Must Have:

• 2 years minimum completed towards an engineering degree.
• Must be able read, write and speak fluent English.
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office suite.
• Above average oral and written communications skills with in-house technical personnel and outside vendors and customers.
• Basic knowledge of engineering principles, technical writing, materials properties.
• Ability to interpret and analyze supply, demand and forecast data.
