Tygart is seeking a Business Analyst to support a small application development team and serve as the primary liaison with the end customer for gathering requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting application development projects and will be responsible for ensuring effective communication between stakeholders and the development team. This position requires the candidate to pass a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) background investigation.

- Act as the primary interface between the development team and end customer to refine and document project requirements.
- Support the Project Manager in developing deliverables and managing timelines.
- Collaborate with application developers to test application components and ensure functionality.
- Facilitate customer testing, gather feedback, and update requirements as necessary.
- Maintain project documentation and assist in tracking progress using available tool suites.
- Work collaboratively within a team environment to ensure successful project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar technical field.
- At least five (5) years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting application development projects.
- Experience working on Agile development teams and familiarity with Agile methodologies.
- Hands-on experience configuring and using the Atlassian Suite of tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.).
- Proven experience in application testing, including test planning and execution.
- Business Analyst and Agile certifications are a plus.
- Strong ability to work under pressure with excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
