Position Details

• Reporting to: Director of Admissions
• Schedule: Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:00 pm; flexible availability is required (nights and weekends).
• Location: On-Site in Pompano Beach, FL
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Communication: Respond to inbound calls, chat inquiries, and emails from individuals seeking treatment.
• Clinical Pre-Screening: Conduct initial assessments to determine appropriate care options.
• Data Entry & Insurance Verification: Accurately document information, verify insurance coverage, and review private pay options.
• Active Listening & Support: Provide empathetic and informative guidance about the admissions process and available treatment programs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the admissions and clinical teams to streamline the intake process and ensure a smooth transition for new patients.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Previous experience in healthcare, customer service, or admissions
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems
• Empathy and professionalism when assisting individuals in crisis
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in behavioral health, substance use treatment, or insurance verification
• Knowledge of healthcare admissions processes
