The Crossing, A Christian Church (TCCC) exists for people to discover Jesus and the Journey. This journey often begins when someone steps foot onto one of our campuses. The Operations Coordinator helps the church accomplish its mission by managing the operations, resources, and finances of the church. This enables our ministries to thrive, allowing people to build a closer relationship with Jesus and each other.
This position is perfect for an organized, dedicated individual who enjoys working as a liaison with the ministry leads and the operations team to maximize the use of our multi-campus facilities by our ministries. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative experience and skills in developing and overseeing systems and processes.
Where you fit in
Project Coordination:
- Provides synergistic support to the Directional Team and ministry leads in a culture of continued process improvement
- Works closely with the Sr Director of Operations, Facilities Team, and Operations Pastors at each location to identify issues, create solutions, and manage projects to completion
- Provide process oversight to ensure routine and special ministry projects are coordinated, scheduled, resourced, and executed in accordance with ministry expectations
- Lead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure that projects adhere to scope, schedule, and budget
- Analyze project status and, when necessary, revise the scope, schedule, or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met
- Develop and maintain partnerships with third-party resources, including vendors and consultants
- Act as liaison between Midtown tenants and The Crossing, addressing issues and creating work orders as needed.
- Meet regularly with volunteers within your care to develop them both spiritually and functionally
Administrative Support:
- Utilizes TCCC web-based administrative systems for mentoring, time management, scheduling, task tracking, expenditure approval, and other processes
- Maintain accurate and organized property records, including leases, contracts, and correspondence
- Prepare and distribute notices, invoices, and other relevant documents
- Assist with the organization and execution of property events and promotions
Finance Support:
- Participate in the weekly count team as needed. Help to balance and reconcile the weekly offering. Prepare the mid-week deposit of ministry funds and checks received. Balance and reconcile the deposits. Deposit checks with remote capture software.
- Maintain the Tenant Receivable system including invoicing, posting payments, creating leases and lease amendments. Correspond with tenants on rent matters and also provide Landlords with necessary documentation.
- Daily Reconciliation of Pushpay deposits including the weekly summary.
- Other duties as assigned to assist the accounting team.

What you'll bring to the team
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma
- Minimum Experience: Four years office management, finance, or administrative experience
- Demonstrates strong technology experience (Gmail, Google Docs, Word, Excel, Rock, etc.)
- Preferred Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college or university
- Preferred Experience: Six years of full-time work in an equivalent church setting or non-profit organization
- Must pass a pre-employment background check
- Proof of legal authorization to work in the United States
Preferred Skills
- Experience with software applications including project management, spreadsheet, database and accounting
- Experience in developing systems for internal processes and controls
Staff Commitments
- Weekly meetings with Sr. Director of Operations
- Attend monthly department meetings and monthly All-Staff worship and spiritual development breakfasts
- Participate in quarterly staff Prayer Days
- Attend occasional All Hands on Deck staff events
- Attend annual conferences and seminars
