Job Overview
The Pipeline Construction Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of pipeline construction projects, from initial planning through completion. This role requires a strong background in project management and pipeline construction & maintenance knowledge, with a focus on ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Management:
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate with Customers to define project objectives and deliverables.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and changes.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a diverse team of project personnel.
- Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance and support to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Budget and Cost Control:
- Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Monitor project expenditures and implement cost control measures as needed.
- Prepare financial reports and forecasts for senior management.
- Quality and Safety Assurance:
- Ensure that all construction activities comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to protect workers and the environment.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to ensure project standards are met.
- Customer Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact with clients regarding efforts such as client coordination, strategic planning, scope management, budget finances, subcontracting, project staffing, environmental compliance, facility support, and schedule attainment.
- Maintain effective communication with Customers.
- Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and any issues that arise.
- Facilitate meetings and presentations to report on project progress.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed project documentation, including contracts, plans, permits, and correspondence.
- Prepare and submit progress reports, including financial and technical data.
- Ensure all project records are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, or a related field.
- Minimum of [5] years of experience in pipeline construction, and project management.
- QuickBooks experience required
- ADP experience a plus
- Proven track record of managing construction projects from inception to completion.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- This role may require travel to various project sites.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- May involve working extended hours to meet project deadlines.
