Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Location: Buena Park, California Facility Type: 5-Star Skilled Nursing and Sub-Acute Long-Term Care Facility Salary: $20-22 per hour Shifts: Morning (7am-3pm) and NOC (11pm-7am)

Job Summary: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our 5-star skilled nursing and sub-acute long-term care facility located in Buena Park, California. As a CNA, you will provide essential direct patient care under the supervision of licensed nursing staff. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
• Taking and recording vital signs accurately, including temperature, blood pressure, pulse rate, and respiration.
• Assisting with mobility and transferring residents safely, using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Providing assistance during meal times, including feeding residents who require assistance.
• Assisting in the maintenance of a clean and safe environment for residents, including changing bed linens, emptying bedpans, and maintaining cleanliness of resident rooms.
• Observing and reporting any changes in resident condition or behavior to the nursing staff.
• Documenting care provided accurately and promptly in resident medical records.
• Assisting with the implementation of individualized care plans for residents.
• Promoting resident independence and maintaining their dignity and privacy at all times.
• Collaborating with other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive and high-quality care.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of California.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working as a CNA in a skilled nursing or long-term care facility is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic nursing care techniques and infection control practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Excellent observational and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
