As our Controller, you'll be the financial backbone of both Vive Exterior Design and Artisan Outdoor Craftsmen, managing all financial operations and implementing best-in-class financial practices. You'll work closely with leadership and operations teams to streamline financial workflows, improve cost efficiency, and ensure smooth cash flow across multiple high-end residential projects. What You'll Do

• Manage all financial operations across both companies, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Track and oversee project-related financials, including deposits, progress payments, and subcontractor payments.
• Collaborate with operations managers to optimize cash flow and financial planning.
• Work closely with our external bookkeeper and accountant to ensure accurate monthly reporting.
• Provide strategic financial insights to improve profitability, job costing, and tax efficiency.
• Monitor P&L statements and forecasting, helping leadership make data-driven decisions.
• Improve financial reporting systems and implement best practices for financial growth.
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in financial management (Controller, Senior Accountant, or similar role).
• Strong knowledge of QuickBooks and financial software (experience with LMN and Company Cam is a plus).
• Experience in project-based accounting, ideally in construction, landscaping, or a related industry.
• Excellent analytical and forecasting skills, with the ability to provide actionable insights.
• Ability to work independently and establish financial systems for a rapidly growing company.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with leadership, operations, and external accounting partners.
