What You’ll Do

As an Estimator, you’ll play a key role in preparing cost estimates and supporting the bidding process for mechanical construction projects. This position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their expertise in construction estimation.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing accurate and timely cost estimates for mechanical construction projects.
• Review blueprints, specifications, and project documentation to understand project scope.
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to gather essential project details.
• Conduct quantity take-offs and compile material and labor cost data.
• Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to secure pricing and clarify project details.
• Maintain an organized database of historical costs, bids, and project information.
• Support risk assessment efforts, identifying potential cost and timeline impacts.
  
  

What You Bring

• A strong interest in construction and a drive to build a career in estimation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with estimation software is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational skills to thrive in a team setting.
