Responsibilities & Duties:
- Assist the Director of Nursing (DON) and Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) in overseeing the Nursing Department to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines.
- Ensure that all nursing staff adhere to their job descriptions and perform their duties to the highest standard.
- Participate in facility surveys and audits as requested.
- Conduct daily rounds to ensure nursing personnel meet accepted standards of care and professionalism.
- Valid RN License in the State of New Jersey.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive nursing experience in Long Term Care; managerial experience preferred.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
