Data Security Analyst

DVS is seeking a Data Security Analyst - Associate to support a large DoD team in a 27x7 environment. The work location will be Fort Huachuca, AZ, and will support cutting-edge technology in an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor Security Management tools and sensors to detect anomalies and security events Triage computer security events to determine whether they warrant further investigation Communicate with customers to coordinate computer security investigations

Minium Qualifications

• 2 Years experience in an IT field or Associates degree in an IT field.
• DOD 8570 IAT II certification (Security+ CE or higher) 8570 CSSP Responder:  CEH, CySA+
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Familiarity with U.S. Army policies and procedures, and organizational processes
• Experience in cyber security controls, policies, and procedures in a military setting
• Experience with analyzing network activities, responding to anomalies, and reporting events
• Experience reviewing and analyzing endpoint security events/logs
• Experience in some or all of the following tools, Elastic Kibana, Service Now, Stealthwatch, NIKSUN, InQuest, Fidelis XPS, TippingPoint, Gabriel Nimbus, SNORT, Wireshark, Trellix IPS and Endpoint security, and Endgame Endpoint Protection.
• Familiarization working in JMN/JRSS environment.
• Threat Hunting
• Threat and Vulnerability Analysis
  
  

Physical And Mental Qualifications

• Maintain focus and awareness throughout scheduled working hours.
• Perform tasks requiring prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk, utilizing a computer, mouse, and keyboard.
• Lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds as needed.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong command of the English language.
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
• Quickly learn and retain routine tasks and processes.
• Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, business correspondence proficiency, and self-management capabilities.
