We are seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to provide care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a group home setting.

Duties

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, and mobility
• Implement care plans tailored to each individual's needs
• Ensure the safety and well-being of residents at all times
• Administer CPR and first aid when necessary
• Maintain accurate documentation of resident progress and activities
• Support individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities in achieving their goals
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of resident information
• Perform heavy lifting as required

Skills

• Experience in hospice care, caregiving, or working with people with developmental disabilities
• Proficient in creating and implementing care plans
• Knowledge of CPR techniques
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations
• Ability to assist with heavy lifting when needed
• Competent in meal preparation for residents
• Experience working in a group home setting is a plus

Schedule

• 12 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Morning shift
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends only

Experience

• Caregiving: 1 year (Required)
• HIPAA: 1 year (Required)

• Overnight Shift (Preferred)

Salary

$15 - $18 per hour
