Role Summary

• The candidate will be placed in an interdisciplinary team working towards autonomous driving functions.
• The intern will use a prototype vehicle equipped with state-of-the-art sensors to access to the vehicles internal communication systems.
• The internship includes evaluation and implementation of state-of-the-art algorithms and ML models to enable automated driving features.
  
  

Role Responsibilities

• Research and evaluation of state-of-the-art machine learning approaches
• Implementation and extension of models for scenario detection
• Integration and optimization of source code for a prototype vehicle
  
  

Qualifications

Education-Required:

• Must be enrolled at a University/College or Graduation date must be within the last six months
  
  

Skills

• Student must possess know-how in machine learning
• Strong background in Python, docker, vector databases
• Experience with ROS and vehicle bus communication beneficial
• Experience with Linux systems or embedded devices
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
  
  

In San Jose, California, the hourly rates for this role are based on level of education:

• Undergraduate (Junior or Senior): $35/hour
• Graduate (Master’s): $38/hour
• PhD: $42/hour
