The Senior Internal Key Account Manager (IMO Distribution) plays a pivotal role in driving strategic sales growth for AuguStar Retirement by delivering exceptional service to designated IMO strategic partners and their affiliated advisors. This individual will collaborate closely with Key Account Managers to identify and pursue new business opportunities, while also nurturing and expanding existing relationships.

Your role and impact

Here's a glimpse of your responsibilities and the meaningful impact you'll create as the Senior Internal Key Account Manager:

  • Partnering with Key Account Manager to develop strategy for designated accounts.
  • Collaborating with KAMs on selling agreements, sales communications, and information updates.
  • Preparing sales presentations and briefings for accounts and senior management.
  • Coordinating sales training for designated firms.
  • Partnering with sales management to implement strategic initiatives with firms.
  • Working with internal teams to meet the needs of designated firms.
  • Planning and coordinating AuguStar's presence at firm conferences, attending as needed.
  • Identifying opportunities to enhance relationships with designated firms.

What Sets You Up For Success

  • Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent work experience.
  • 4+ years of IMO industry experience required.
  • Must have the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Must have strong relationship building and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to prioritize while managing multiple tasks.
  • Excellent project management, verbal and written communications skills.
  • Ability to occasionally travel to conferences and advisor office visits.
  • Industry designations such as CFP, RICP preferred.
