What You Will Be Doing

  • Architect and execute premium learning experiences – Develop workshops spanning mathematics, science, philosophy, and creative writing while delivering individualized mentorship to 15-20 gifted learners advancing at 5-10 times typical speed
  • Identify and address intellectual barriers – Modify methodologies dynamically to support students who have surpassed conventional education structures in discovering their cognitive strengths
  • Apply AI-driven personalization strategies
  • Iterate and enhance – Continuously improve workshop frameworks alongside colleagues while measuring effectiveness using both qualitative observations and quantitative data

Basic Requirements

Gifted Student Coach key responsibilities

  • Premier educational background – Bachelor's degree from an Ivy League institution or comparably ranked university
  • Demonstrated academic distinction – National Merit Finalist status, Olympiad medal, accelerated college completion, or equivalent accomplishment
  • Distinguished academic credential – High-profile scholarship recipient (Rhodes, Fulbright, NSF GRFP), membership in Mensa/Triple Nine Society, doctoral degree, or university teaching background
  • 3 years of mentorship background – Experience coaching, mentoring, or instructing students in any setting
  • Regular AI tool engagement – Self-confirmed daily interaction with generative AI platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.)
  • Geographic flexibility – Ability to relocate to or maintain in-person presence in Austin (Georgetown), TX
  • Employment eligibility – Authorization to work legally in the United States without requiring sponsorship

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
