What You Will Be Doing

  • Conduct one-on-one and small-group coaching for PreK Guides, demonstrating effective methods and recognizing concrete achievements
  • Create and lead play-based learning sessions integrating social-emotional learning, literacy, numeracy, and motor development, serving as an exemplar for your colleagues
  • Audit and refine Guide records each week to ensure rubric consistency and clarity, facilitating calibration meetings to maintain transparency around milestone tracking
  • Develop family communications and coordinate team briefings that synchronize focus areas and uphold collective standards for campus PreK readiness targets

Basic Requirements

Montessori Program Director key responsibilities

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline; Master's degree or additional specialized credentials preferred
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in early childhood education, child development, or a closely related area
  • Direct experience facilitating group activities for children between the ages of 3 and 5
  • Demonstrated success designing and executing play-based curricula or programs that promote developmental milestones, such as Montessori approaches
  • A minimum of 1 year coaching or supervising education teams with clear performance metrics
  • Excellent written and spoken communication abilities for effective family correspondence and team coordination
  • Current legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available
  • Readiness to work on-site at the Alpha Austin campus, with relocation support offered as necessary

Working with us

This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $75 USD/hour, which equates to $150,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
