Assistant Manager

Stimulus Assistant Manager is responsible for managing the daily operations of Stimulus Coffee + Bakery as outlined by the Stimulus General Manager, including training new employees, managing labor as a percentage of revenue, ordering supplies within budget finding a balance of not being under or over stocked. The Assistant Manager will discover and ensure that guests are satisfied with their experience, and that the staff is always providing world class customer service even in our busiest times. The Assistant Manager will work in collaboration with the General Manager on any items that include but are not limited to, issues that may impact revenue, inventory, product availability, staffing needs/concerns, or product quality.

Key Accountabilities:

• Lead and manage Stimulus team in a professional and kind manner that is in line with the Nestucca Ridge Family of Companies mission and values.
• Ensure that guests have an exceptional experience in all ways from the moment they enter the door to the moment they leave.
• Foster a fun, safe and productive work environment for all employees.
• Adhere to company standards and service levels to increase sales and minimize costs, including beverage, supply, utility, and labor costs.
• Order supplies and products within budget. Get the Stimulus General Manager’s approval prior to ordering items not budgeted for.
• Complete and verify deposits daily, reporting any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of dining areas. Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws and ordinances, all ODA and OLCC rules and regulations.
• Work with the Stimulus General Manager to ensure and continually evolve consistent high quality food preparation, presentation, and service.
