  • Position: Clinical Specialist
  • Location: Temple, TX
  • Hours: 8am-5pm & on call hours

The Position

  • Loads, delivers and sets up durable medical equipment, oxygen and supplies to patients in their homes, as instructed
  • Demonstrates equipment operation by providing instruction for use of certain types of medical equipment in the home
  • Ensures a safe patient environment as it relates to equipment
  • Completes follow-up visits for non-clinical respiratory patients
  • Conducts Home Environmental Assessments for oxygen patients
  • Assists patients in solving equipment-related problems
  • Completes necessary paperwork and required documentation
  • Exchanges equipment due for maintenance
  • Sets up and picks up diagnostic studies and ensures delivery to appropriate physician
  • Responds to emergency calls with clinical back up as needed

Requirements

  • Durable medical equipment (DME) intake experience
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Two-year degree, preferably in healthcare related field.
  • Ability to use navigation system and follow maps.
  • Experience in Brightree EHR a plus!

Our services allow our clients to remain and thrive in their homes, schools, and communities. The majority of the clients we serve are age’s birth through 21 years old and have a variety of technologies that might include a trach, ventilator or g-tube.
