Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Assistant Controller to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $140,000 to $150,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities
- Implement all technical accounting updates (GAAP) are implemented throughout the company.
- Ensure support with budget management initiatives, financial analysis, Accounts payable and receivable.
- Formulation, Implementation and management of internal controls, processes and policies to comply with legislations and establish best practices.
- Responsible for financial reporting and integrity and accuracy of data and accounting information.
- Manage regulatory compliance, corporate policies and procedures.
- Assist Controller with internal and external financial audits, including preparation and review of audit schedules
- Support management & development of staff, including helping to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related filed; Master's degree or CPS certification preferred
- 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel) and financial software programs
- Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, and tax documentation preparation.
- Strong analytical and communication to convey information
- Well-organized, proactive and able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
