You are: An experienced Data Scientist

The Work:

Analyze large and complex datasets to extract actionable insights and identify trends.

Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems and optimize processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.

Design experiments and interpret results to test hypotheses and validate models.

Create data visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings and insights to stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.

Knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.

Ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility through collaboration with data engineers.

Participate in the development and implementation of data governance policies and best practices.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of data science infrastructure and processes.

This role will require 2-3 days per week at the local office.

The preferred hiring locations for this role are Columbus, OH; Tampa, FL; Nashville, TN, Atlanta, GA; Dallas, TX

Here’s what you need:

A minimum of three years of experience as a Data Scientist including proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL or PySpark

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

Bonus points if you have:

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with experience in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning libraries (e.g., pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large, complex datasets.

Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau) to communicate insights effectively.

Knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
