This position offers the option of a hybrid work schedule, with three days working in the office and two days working remotely.

Join our team as a Data Scientist in our corporate office located in South Sioux City, Nebraska. In this position, you will utilize your profound skills in statistics and reasoning to present data and predictive models to multiple departments throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Research, analyze, and develop predictive models and machine learning solutions in support of company objectives
• Collaborate on projects with a variety of business units, such as underwriting, marketing, claims, risk control, and IT
• Mentor staff in advanced modeling methods and development of new product lines or programs
  
  

We are looking for candidates who have:

• A Master's degree in data science, statistics, math, computer science, actuarial science, or a related field
• Experience gathering data and developing statistical models, preferably in the insurance industry
• Excellent verbal communication and business writing skills
• Strong problem solving skills, and the ability to analyze complex data
