The Field Mechanic is responsible for performing intermediate-level maintenance, diagnostics, and repair tasks on a variety of machinery and equipment in the field. Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and ensure proper function of hydraulic fracturing equipment pumps and pneumatic systems
- Perform basic mechanic duties (i.e., filter changes, diagnostics, repairs, etc.)
- Install and/or replace new or reconditioned repair parts and create work orders for all discovery work and performed repairs
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities (i.e., order parts using Power Apps, generate QC daily reports, etc.)
- Immediately communicate failures to Field Mechanic Lead or Supervisor
- Supply own tools for each shift.
- Perform general housekeeping of parts trailer, service trucks, and work area
- Safely drive a company vehicle day or night, on all road types, and in all weather conditions
- Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Follow HSE procedures on location (watch for high pressure lines, observation of red zone boundaries, perform lock out tag out, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
- 2 + years mechanical experience, required
- A Technical Associates degree or certificate is preferred
- High School diploma or equivalent, required
- Maintaining a current, valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, required
- Must know basic hydraulic fracturing equipment, pump and blender operations, and be able to identify key blender components
- Must be familiar with electronic instrumentation and automation equipment
- Clear communication skills, able to effectively interact with team members, leads, and supervisors
- Must be able to communicate, read, and write in English
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications, Power Apps, and able to quickly learn other work-related software
- Safety conscious, observant, and willing to use stop work authority when necessary
- Must be physically able to safely perform duties during a 12+ hour work shift that will include days, nights, holidays, and weekends
- Must be physically able to safely perform duties in all weather conditions including extreme heat or cold
- Must be physically able to remain alert and safe during exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes, toxic chemicals, airborne particles, and moderate to loud noises
- Must be physically able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout the work shift
- Must be physically able to safely lift or move 50 lbs. without assistance
- Daily bonus for days worked, subject to change
- Housing provided depending on work site location proximity to office/yard
- CAT Class Factory/Tri-Tech training
- ProPetro & Dynamic Gas Blending (DGB) Training
